Well, today is your day! April 16 is Record Store Day – a worldwide celebration of the vinyl LP. Bands and solo artists will have in-store performances in record stores across the country and around the world – check for Record Store Day events in your area.
Of course, any day is a good day to go sifting through crates of vinyl at some of the record stores in the DC area, such as CD Cellar in Falls Church, Crooked Beat Records in Adams Morgan, or Roadhouse Oldies in Silver Spring.
